Another Like You was the public opening of a working process developed during a residency at Casa Trece, Córdoba, in collaboration with Andrei Fernández and Gustavo Nieto as curators and editors. The process was accompanied by Aníbal Buede. The book The Cold Fury was published in this context.
Actions developed before and during the residency:
Field 1. A musical translation of the floor plan of a domestic gallery: finding a composer, creating a score and finding a violinist or cellist to perform it live in Córdoba.
Field 2. Reconstructing crystal radios in order to materialise a memory: finding an engineer, producing the devices and locating interference frequencies—where no clear signal could be received—to broadcast live in Córdoba.
Thus, the first attempt to put the idea—the reconstruction of a memory/radio—into practice within a hard physical-scientific framework, together with an expert engineer, pursued the reconstruction of an entirely poetic artefact, since by 2012 its function was obsolete.
