Drawings on tracing paper which, when mounted, configure a system of relations that exceeds drawing and crosses into writing through an inaugural gesture. Drawing as a first approach to language, but also as an image in movement towards writing—already writing itself.
A transparent drawing-writing. An intuitive and imperfect attempt at tracing—not copying—that suspends error until the point of rupture.
Each sheet expands a drawing from the emptiness of its margins into other spaces, inhabiting them with new scenes before they are reduced to words. Drawing as a form that precedes yet condenses writing: it comes before it and expands it.
