Let Things Happen Together. 2024

Heritage collection in Let Things Happen Together

Let Things Happen Together. 2024Curated by Ana Volonté, Analía Solomonoff and Bruno Juliano.Faculty of Arts, National University of Tucumán.

The project, developed from the Faculty’s heritage collection, opened the collection to a collective and pedagogical experience involving students, graduates, teachers, researchers, artists, neighbours and workers connected with museums and heritage.

Between May 2024 and March 2025 we worked with the collection’s 190 pieces, continuing a survey begun in 2010. Between conservation and restoration, another operation interested us: revitalisation. To store, clean, record and preserve, but also to look at the works again, place them in relation and create the conditions for new readings.

We understood preservation not as the crystallisation of a narrative of the past, but as a commitment, from the present, to what survives and to those who will continue.
